Who am I? Why Always Sunny?

I’m an expert at what I do. But knowing the best techniques is only part of the process, I’m also here to make you feel great.

My name is Kylie Washa-James. I am a mom of two sweet little girls, my husband and I met in 2016 and got married in 2021! I have a bachelors degree in criminal justice from UNT.

After graduation, I jumped into the corporate side of a private security company- I didn’t love what I was doing.
During that time I was hired for some less-than-part-time office tasks for a Frisco spray tanning company in exchange for free spray tans! I’ve always loved wearing a good spray tan!

In July 2019, the owner of that studio needed someone to step in and spray- so I was trained. This arrangement was only supposed to be for about 2 weeks- I ended up continuing to spray for her until March 2021 when I decided to stay home with my then 3 year old and was pregnant with our second.

While working and training at that studio- I fell in love with being on the other side of spray tans and I had an amazing teacher/mentor which only made the passion in me grow!

Whlie I loved that studio- it became too far of a drive for me to get tanned there. But, when I looked for a closer studio in Melissa, I struggled to find one up to my standards as a previous tech. That was when I decided what Melissa needed was me and that’s how Always Sunny Spray Tans was born.

I spent months researching and trying various products so I could offer only the best in my studio. I tried them on myself, my neighbors, even my husband!

I am confident that with my experience and products- you’ll recieve the best glow you’ve ever had when you come to me!
